Cherry City Electric was the electrical contractor for one of only six U.S. structures recognized as the world’s most high-tech green buildings by Forbes Magazine. The Port of Portland Headquarters building project received LEED Platinum status in 2011 and was the only project in the State of Oregon to be recognized by Forbes.com. The project, located at the Portland International Airport, features several resource measures including energy efficient lighting, renewable source and recycled materials use, and water efficient fixtures. Alongside the building is a 7-story parking garage.
